Volkswagen launched its limited edition of Vento named as Vento konekt on 18th August 2014. The Vento Konekt consist lot of new interiors features like latest upgraded infotainment system etc. Vento konekt is available in Comfortline and Highline variants. There is no mechanical and technical changes have been done in this New Vento except an additional kit or bunch of new features. Let’s have a glance on what New Vento has to offer.
Price:
Vento konekt the premium sedan Petrol variants priced between 7.84-9.8 lakhs, while the diesel variants cost between 8.99-9.8 lakhs.
Engine Details:
Volkswagen Vento Konekt hits the floor with two engine option i.e. 1.6L common rail Diesel engine with 103BHP power@4400 rpm and 250nm peak torque between 1500-2500 rpm.
It is equipped with 5 speed manual transmission (MT) with fuel efficiency of 20.5 km/L.
Another is 1.6L in line petrol engine with 103BHP@5200 rpm and 153nm torque at 3800 rpm. Petrol engine comes with 5MT (Manual transmission) with the mileage of 15.4 km/l.
Space and Dimensions:
The spacious Vento Konekt measures at 4384mm in length, 1699mm wide and 1466mm tall. It has seating capacity of 5 persons. It carries wheel base of 2552mm with good ground clearance of 168mm.
Interiors and exteriors:
Vento Konekt if fully loaded with brilliant interior features like Blaupunkt infotainment system with GPS and bluetooth enabled telephony. Dashboard has 7 inch touchscreen TFT display with USB and I phone compatibility and Multi function display. It also has Climatic sensing A/C vents and rear A/C vents. Interior is furnished with 2 tone black- beige color with scratch resistance with loads of storage options at front and rear seats. It contains features like front and rear center armrest, leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, ‘Livon’ leather upholstery, front centre console with 12V outlet, trunk illumination, chromed interior trims etc.

Volkswagen Vento Konekt comes with 6 marvelous colors which are Candy White, Pepper Gray, Terra Beige, Shadow blue, Reflex silver and Deep Black. Candy white and deep Black looks trendier.

Verdict:
As we told you earlier there are no mechanical and technical changes in the car. Volkswagen just on the base of modern interior features is trying to strengthen its Sedan segment market. Interior features are excellent with modern dashboard and infotainment system. To sum up, it is a brilliant strategy by Volkswagen.
