In the bang of ongoing Auto Expo, Renault has launched its royal SUV Koleos’ facelift version. Seems like big family-based models as SUVs and MPVs are going to be the shows stopper in this Motor Show coz many brands are in the list of launching/unveiling the sport utility vehicles this time. These are Honda Mobilio, VW Taigun, Chevy Trailblazer, Hyundai Santa Fe, Maruti Suzuki iV-4 concept and the all new Renault Koleos etc.

Price:
This new Koleos is now available at its every showroom with the price tag of 22.33 lakhs (4×2 Manual), 25.14 lakhs (4×4 Manual) and 26.19 lakhs (4×4 Automatic).
Engine details:
This trendy SUV is powered by an all-new and masculine 2.0 liter dCi diesel engine by having three variants at all which are paired up with 6-speed manual/automatic transmission gearboxes. The new Koleos gets 4×2 and 4×4 both wheel-drive options which are making the car more powerful than ever. Thus, its available variants are now named as 4×2 MT, 4×4 MT and 4×4 AT.
While the Koleos 4×4 churns out the impressive max power of 170.6bhp and peak torque of 360Nm, the 4×2 Koleos is good for developing the max output of 148bhp and 320Nm.
However, the ARAI certified mileage figures offered by this car also vary as per the variants which are as follows:
4×2 MT – 17.15 km/l
4×4 MT – 16.26 km/l
4×4 AT – 14.56 km/l
Space & Dimension:
The big family car Koleos is 4520 long, 2120mm wide and 1695 tall which also carries the boot capacity of 450 liters, fuel tank capacity of 65 liters, wheelbase of 2690mm and ground clearance of 206mm.
Interior & Exterior:
By having renovations at its outside and inside as well, this model is looking trendier than before. The stylish and new chrome front grill along with chrome side protectors, silver satin roof rails, indicators on door mirror adorned with LED and new 17 inch two tone alloy wheels (in 4×4) are some of the newly modifications of Koleos which definitely complement its beauty.
Other than this, entire features of its predecessor are marking their presence here as well, including projector headlamps, rear spoiler, split tailgate, skid plates at front/rear, chrome finish fog lamps, electrically adjustable ORVMs, satin chrome door handles, body color bumper & side mouldings , smart access card, engine start/stop button, dusk sensor, rain sensor, rear parking sensor, cruise control,BOSE audio system with 5 speakers and 1 amplifier (in 4×4) while Arkamys audio system with 4 speakers (in 4×2), Aux-In, iPOD, MP3, radio, Bluetooth compatibility, dual zone AC + rear AC vents, tilt & telescopic steering wheel having audio controls on it and many more.
Road handling and Safety:
Renault has tried its best to equip this car with all those entire features which make a vehicle safest and comfortable. While the Koleos has all the capabilities of perform well on road by providing a balanced handling as well, many new safety features have also been adorned in it.
The Hill Start Assistance and Hill Descent Control as well along with six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), child safety rear lock, speed sensing door lock and auto emergency unlock etc ensure its safety on the road.
