The wait is finally over, The Avventura is officially launched by Fiat on 21st October 2014. We were hearding a lot about the launch date of Avvnetura which has been changing frequently but today it came to an end with the launch of Avventura. Avventura is cross hactch based on recently launched Punto EVO and it will take on Ford Eco sport in the segment which is increasing its sales figures day by day. Let’s look in detail about Avventura.
Price:
Fiat launched Avventura at the initial price of Rs. 5.99 lakh which goes upto 8.17 lakh Ex showroom Delhi.
Engine Details:
Fiat Avventura launched in two engine options and 5 varinats ( 2 petrol and 3 Diesel). The 1.4L F.I.R.E petrol engine is able toh produce 88.8BHP power@6000rpm and 115Nm torque@4500 rpm. This engine returns 14.1KPL of mileage which is on the lower side.
On the other hand, 1.3L multijet diesel engine develops 91.7BHP power@4000rpm and 209Nm torque@2000rpm with the efficient mileage of 20.5KPL. Both the engines are mated to five spped automatic transmission.
Space & Dimensions:
Fiat Avventura Cross hatch is not very big from Punto EVO, Avventura is 3989mm long, 1706mm wide and 1542mm in height. It has excellent ground clearance of 205mm and it offers seating capacity of 5 persons. Wheelbase of Avventura cross hatch is 2510mm.
Exterior & Interior:
Fiat Avventura looks like a slight big version of recently launched Puntio EVO, front side is exact copy of Punto EVO. Projector Headlamps, placing of logo and bonnet are same like Punto, front bumper is black finished with meatl touch accompanied by fog lamps.
Side profile of Avventura has big 16 inch alloy wheels, body colored ORVM’s and black color door handles. Rear profile of Avvnetura has a large tail gate, LED brake lights with indicators and additional spare with cover which provides it a sporty look.
The Cabin of Avventura is decorated by dual tone color scheme and central console consists number of gizmos like compass, tilt meter etc. Dashboard has ambient lighting with black A/C vents and a audio system. Three spoke steering wheel is a leather wrapped one with multi utility functions which looks classy. Seats are much more classy than Punto Evo and more premium one as well which get adjustable headrests and driver seat has height adjustment function as well. Apart from that there are more interior feature like sun visor, map pockets, cup holders 60:40 seat spilt, rear power windows, digital clock and automatic air control in the Avventura.
Colors:
Fiat Avventura will be sold in six colors which are Bronzo Tan, Zafferango orange, Pearl White, Exoctica Red, Minimal Grey and Hip Hop Black.
Safety:
Fiat Avventura is loaded with features to ensure maximum safety to passengers. It carries safety likes dual air bags, passenger airbag deactivation, front-rear foglamps and height adjustable front seat belts. Apart from these features it carries some other safety features like ABS+EBD, three point seat belt with load limit, automatic door lock, central locking, fire prevention system, early crash sensors and engine immobiliser with rolling code.
Verdict:
Fiat Avventura looks good from both interior and exterior point of view but engine specifications are on the lower side apart from that it will clash with Ford Ecosport who has been liked by everyone due to its overall package, So there is difficult road ahead for the Avventura.
