The all new BMW X6 has been launched at a sticker price of Rs. 1.15 crore (ex-showroom Delhi) in the country. The first GEN model was launched in 2008 which started a new segment called coupe SUV segment (primarily known as Sports activity coupe) which has grown in immense popularity ever since its inception. The new variant is available at BMW dealerships across India from today onwards and will be brought as CBU (completely build unit).
Price:

Engine:
The new variant is powered by a 3.0L twin turbo six cylinder in-line diesel engine which is capable to give an output of 313bhp and 600Nm of peak torque at 1500-2500rpm. The power is sent to rear wheels via an eight speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. In terms of performance, the engine has enough grunt to reach 100km mark from a standstill in 5.8 seconds while offering 240km/hr as top speed.
Space and Dimensions:
The new BMW X6 is 32mm longer, 6mm wider and 33mm taller than the outgoing model. The new dimensions now stand at 4909×2170×1702mm while the wheelbase remains same at 2933mm. The new model is lighter by 40 kg thanks to the extensive use of aluminum and light weight materials. 2015 BMW X6 comes with the humungous boot capacity of 580 liters which can further be expanded up to 1525 liters by folding all the seats.
Exterior:
Since the model is known for unique silhouette and has great fan following, so BMW decided not to alter its profile. As a result of it the new model hasn’t undergone huge cosmetic changes. The 2015 BMW X6 gets erratic looking LED multi beam headlights with DRLs, wide signature kidney grille, large air ducts with chrome accents and new muscular bumpers adds to the spottiness of the car.
Side remain same however the car now rides on new 19 inch double spoke light alloy wheels. The rear end too gets modified with distinct horizontal lines along with the L shaped taillights with three dimensional LED adaptive light, revised boot lid, chrome exhaust tail pipes and chrome treatment on new rear bumper to convey powerful and boxy appearance.
Interior:
As for interior styling, the overall layout remains unchanged but gets some minor updates with better quality materials, new leather upholstery, BMW hallmark driver focused design are some of the highlights of new BMW X6. It now boats a stylish leather wrapped M steering wheel, M badged door sills, start/stop system, elevated seating position, i-Drive display, Harmon Kardon audio system with six speakers.
The BMW X6 being offered in four different interior color themes including Fineline stripe, Grain wine wood and American Oak trim. The BMW driving experience control system now available as standard and come along with an Eco pro mode which enable you to save fuel. Besides these it also get torque vector rear differential, surround view monitors, anti-roll system, night vision function and two tone fabric upholstery with optional Nappa leather upholstery or standard Dakota.
The new BMW X6 comes with M sports package as standard to further enhance the sporty and aesthetic profile of the car. It also has BMW connect drive feature with BMW selective beam, BMW apps, driver assistance system and many more.
Colors:
You can have new BMW X6 in four metallic paintworks- Carbon black, Space grey, Mineral white, Flamenco red brilliant effect along with one non-metallic Alpine while color shade.
Safety:
As far as safety is concerned, the new BMW X6 comes with comprehensive list of features like six airbags, cornering brake control, hill descent control, side impact protection, dynamic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system. In addition it also boasts optional dynamic performance control function which optimizes traction, stability by distributing power to outer rear wheel, crash sensor electric vehicle immobilizer and dynamic adaptive suspension package to complete the list.
