Sometimes it becomes difficult when you have to choose better among the best or we can say when there are various deserving car available in the same segment, same can be said for Toyota Etios. When you look at the sedan segment there are many outstanding cars like Hyundai Verna, Segment dominator Honda City, newbie Maruti Ciaz and Volkswagen Vento than job becomes more difficult. We managed to talk with the users of Toyota Etios and tried to know their opinion about it.
What Do they like the most?
Dependable On-road Performance: Users who have already used previous GEN Etios think that Etios can never lose its charm when it comes to on-road ability. Undoubtedly Etios has been praised by almost everyone for its engines and drivability. Those who are looking for a good sedan with simple looks Etios is best suited for them.
A ultra Spacious car: One of the users told us that he was looking for a complete family sedan which can easily fits his 5 family members so he decided to go for the new Etios and was impressed with the space it has to offer whether its headroom or rear legroom space. So those who are looking for spacious cabin space and large boot space than it is foolish to ignore the new Etios.
Fuel Friendly car: In a country like India where fuel efficiency is considered as most important aspect while buying a car, here people are more bothered about “Kitna deti hai?” than any other aspect of a car than mileage becomes more important. New Etios answers this question very well with the decent mileage of 23.1 kmpl.
What they didn’t like at all?
Outdated looks: We found out some people who have test driven it but didn’t opt to buy new Etios, They told us despite of being updated Etios still looks simple and way behind the cars like Amaze, Ciaz etc.
Body structure lacks rigidity: One user has just got the delivery of its new Etios but he seems to be in a dilemma regarding Etios body structure. He felt the quality of its outer structure is too light even a neat impression of kid sitting on car is evident.
Interior quality is Poor: Like other customer this gentleman was also disappointed with the quality that has been put in the cabin of Etios sedan. He was annoyed with average quality plastic, poorly designed seats which engrave back issue to him, below average floor mats and most importantly the unconventional dashboard design.
Pickup Issue: New Toyota Etios is obviously not a racing car but it cannot even to keep stable on 90-100 km speed, there is an evident turbo lag. Apart from the pickup issue, when you drive vehicle during higher speeds engine gets too noisy with engine and tyre noise which becomes irritable after one point.
