The new generation Maruti Celerio will be launched in India soon and the details of this car are now available. While a few features are yet to be disclosed. Here are the details of the new-gen Celerio that you should know about.
Specifications
The new-gen Maruti Celerio is based on the brand’s Heartect platform that ensures better NVH levels and improved ride & handling. As for the engines, the new model of this car is expected to be powered by WagonR’s 1.0-litre and 1.2-litre petrol engine options. The 1.0-litre unit engine will make 67bhp & 90Nm torque and the 1.2-litre unit engine will make 82bhp & 113Nm of torque. The Celerio will also have manual and AMT gearbox options. Diesel engine options are likely to be unavailable.
Engine details, exterior, and interior features are yet to be revealed.
Expected launch date:
Due to COVID-19, the launch of the new generation Celerio was pushed so it is expected to be available from August.
Expected Price:
The price range is yet to be revealed but a difference of up to Rs 50,000 is expected as compared to the existing model.
