With approaching the festive season, BMW has launched Mini JCW Pro edition in India to add some spice to the powerful hatchback. The edition is priced at Rs. 43.90 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and can be booked exclusively via Amazon India. However, Mini JCW Pro edition is limited only to 20 units and will be brought to India via CBU route like other Mini models.
As the name implies, the premium hatch borrows changes from John Cooper Works styling department. It is cosmetically different from the standard model thanks to matte black paint with red pinstripes, red roof and red ORVMs, LED headlights with black bezels, on 17-inch cosmos spoke black alloy wheels, carbon fibre finished dual pipe exhausts, JCW emblem at the rear and JCW aerodynamic package. The JCW Pro edition can be had in two colours- Midnight Black and Racing British Green with red rooftop and ORVMs.
The cabin features leather wrapped JCW steering wheel with perforated leather and paddle shifters, JCW Alcantara leather sports seats with integrated headrests and JCW logos on the door sill. It also comes with a dual-tone dashboard with red trim, an anthracite roof lining, 6.6-inch head up display with navigation, Smartphone connectivity and 360W Harman Kardon audio system with eight channel digital amplifier and 12 speakers.
Under the hood of MINI Cooper JCW Pro Edition is a 2.0-litre 4-pot TwinPower Turbo petrol engine accompanied by JCW tuning kit which propels the hot hatch to deliver 210bhp power and 300Nm of torque. Powering front wheels is a 6-speed automatic control with launch control function. The car can hit a ton from a standstill in just 6.5 seconds and it also comes with three driving modes- MID, Sport and Green.
The JCW Pro Edition has a range of safety features such as dual front airbags (Driver & front passenger), run flat indicator, ABS, Cornering brake control, gearshift indicator, brake energy regeneration, brake assist, dynamic stability control, crash sensor, reverse parking camera and auto start/stop function.
