Mercedes-Benz has launched AMG GLS 63 at an introductory price of Rs. 1.58 Crores (Ex. Showroom, Pune) in the Indian market. Also, the brand has introduced AMG G 63 ‘Edition 463’ at a stunning price of Rs. 2.17 Crores (Ex. Showroom, Pune). However, it is a limited edition of the iconic AMG G 63 SUV. Both the luxury SUVs have been launched under brand’s ‘designo’ platform, which gives customers range of customization and personalization combos.
In terms of changes, it comes with plethora of cosmetic changes that differentiate it from the standard GLS model which include LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, a new front bumper with bigger air dam, AMG body kit, red brake calipers, adjustable ORVMs with brand logo projection, 21 inch AMG cross spoke alloy wheels and LED tail lights.
Coming to the interiors, it packs with AMG performance steering wheel in black leather, Harman Kardon Logic 7 surround sound system, electrically foldable third-row seats, temperature-controlled cupholder, front seats with massage function, automatic climate control, Nappa leather. Features on offer with the GLS 63 include temperature-controlled cup holders, electrically operated tailgate, multi-contour front seats with heating and massage function and much more.
Power comes from a 5.5 liter V8 bi-turbo motor that makes 577bhp power and 760Nm of torque. Transmission segment is taken care by a 7G Tronic gearbox and it can hit a ton in just 4.6 seconds while clocking a top speed of 210 km/hr. It also comes with AMG ride control sports suspension and active curve system roll stabilization.
