Maruti Suzuki is now gearing up to launch its new hatchback Maruti Suzuki Celerio X. The variants that Celerio offers are Vxi, Vxi AMT, Zxi and Zxi AMT. It is expected to compete against Renault Kwid Climber in the Indian market. With excellent interiors as rumoured and nice fuel economy, Maruti Suzuki Celerio is said to be a famous hatchback among buyers who are looking forward to its launch.
Price
The expected price of the Maruti Suzuki Celerio X is between Rs. 5 lakhs to Rs. 6 lakhs.
Engine and Gearbox
The new Celerio X will be powered by a 998cc 3-cylinder engine as that of the previous variant. There is no change in this. The engine is expected to produce 67bhp of power and 90Nm of torque. The new variant is rumoured to come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard or optional AMT.
Dimension
The dimensions of the car are expected to be 3715 mm in length, 1,635 mm in width and 1565 mm in height.
Colors
The Celerio X is expected to be available in five colour options that are Orange, Blue, Brown, White and Grey.
Exterior
The new Celerio X exterior has some eye catchy specifications. This is said to be a craggier version of the previous Celerio. The ground clearance is more this time while it gets cosmetic updates for an appealing look on road. The dimensions have also seen some changes. Talking about its look, the new Celerio X sports smoked headlamps, plastic panels on the bumper, black grille, circle shaped fog lamps, bonnet design and body panels. The car has black roof rails, 14-inch alloy wheels, black ORVMs with turn lights and faux diffuser.
Interior
The cabin of the Celerio X gets some changes with new black seat covers, colourful accents, mounted steering controls, and keyless entry. We are also expecting standard airbags for the driver’s seat in the new Celerio X. Maruti Suzuki has recently started giving it to the driver’s seat and for the other front seater as well. The interior gets a climate control system and infotainment system as well to add to its interior features.
Safety
For safety, the Celerio X features dual airbags, anti-lock braking system as well with ventilated disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the back while the park assistant system is also said to be offered. The rear child lock and the engine immobilizer are also expected to get featured in the Celerio on the launch.
