In order to celebrate the successful 25 years of its super-luxury SUV Discovery, Land Rover has announced about new additions to its 2015 Model. While car is similar to the predecessor from the outside, many new and striking features have been added in its inside, sharing from its XXV Special edition. Also, two new base variants have been added in this Discovery 2015 model too. In UK, the deliveries of this new model will be commenced from September while it is expected to hit the market by the end of this year in India.
As per UK model, the two base variants namely SE and SE Tech are priced at 42.5 lakhs and 48.5 lakhs respectively (as per INR) while the two top-ends trims HSE and HSE luxury cost at 55.03 lakhs and 60.56 lakhs respectively.
In India, the Land Rover Discovery 2015 will be powered by same 3.0 litre diesel engine like the ongoing one and develop 245bhp of max power and 600Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
Interior & Exterior:
In the new base variant SE, it is designed with cruise control, fog lights at front, auto headlamps & wipers, headlamp power-wash, auto dimming rear view mirror, interior foot well and door puddle lamps. While on the other side, another variant SE Tech replaces the earlier XS specification and gets Xenon headlights with LED signature as standard while HSE trims is now featuring 20-inches alloy wheels as standard on the place of previous 19-inches. This new SUV is also adorned with InControl Apps which is compatible with iPhone (for version 5 and later) and android phones (for version 4.0 and later).
At exterior, three new colors have been introduced which are Aruba, Kaikora Stone and Montalcino Red.

Striking attributes from this anniversary derivative are now being made available across the range for our customers to bring that level of heightened luxury into their Discovery of choice”.
