With New Year is just around the corner almost every car manufacturer wants to cash it in with lucrative offers, discounts and limited special editions. Now, in a bid to make best out of year end, Fiat has unveiled limited editions of Punto Evo and Linea 125s called Punto Karbon and Linea Royale respectively. Following the unveil last month; Fiat has finally initiated the sale of these limited editions at an additional price of Rs. 35,000. Both the editions have been listed on company’s website along with other offers.
Both these models are available in a Pearl white colour shade and feature cosmetic changes on exteriors as well as inside the cabin. For starters, Evo Karbon edition gets vinyl decals from front wheel arches to rear doors and Karbon inscription under the C-pillars while Linea edition bears Royale badge under the C-pillars.
Both gets gun metal finished alloy wheels and contrast matte black roof top to make things attractive. Things get even spicier inside Linea Royale thanks to familiar dual tone cabin with tan leather seats with diamond stitching, door pads, and central dashboard. While Punto Evo Karbon features all black dashboard and black leather seats with contrast white stitching. Both these are bundled with contoured splash guards, reverse parking sensors, branded carpets and door sills.
On the mechanical front, both remain unchanged; Linea Royale continues to draw power from a 1.4-litre T-Jet petrol engine 123bhp@5000rpm of power and 208Nm of high torque, linked to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The engine delivers an ARAI rated fuel efficiency of 14.2 Kmpl. whereas; Punto Evo is powered by 1.3l litre Multijet diesel engine that is capable of producing 91bhp@4000rpm and 209Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission and offers 20 Kmpl of ARAI rated mileage.
