The Land Rover has been around the shores since a long time and has been delivering some of the best off roaders. The brand is quite popular in its home country United Kingdom but in India it has been working quite hard to gain a large chunk of sales. Range Rover Evoque has been an evolutionary vehicle for the carmaker all around the globe, the facelift version was revealed and launched at this year’s Geneva motor show.
Now, Land Rover has opened bookings for the 2016 Range Rover Evoque SUV in India which is lined up for a launch in November 2015.
For the updated model, the design of the SUV has been further enhanced by redesigned front bumper, LED daytime running lights adaptive headlamps with integrated turn indicators, two new grille designs, three all-new alloy wheel designs and tweaked tail lamps to complete the exterior package.
On the inside, features on offer are a rear seat entertainment package; 825W 17 speakers Meridian Surround sound system with high Dynamic Lux, 8.0 inch head up display, surround camera system and hand free tailgate function. The 2016 Evoque also features front seats with 12 way lumbar support and memory function, cruise control, rain sensing wipers etc.
Range Rover Evoque facelift will come with some new safety features lane-keeping assist, drowsy driver warning, autonomous emergency braking, blind spot monitor with closing vehicle sensing, dynamic stability control, reverse traffic detention and park assist package featuring Perpendicular park, parking exit and Parallel park.
2015 Range Rover Evoque is expected to retain the same 2.2 litre diesel engine that produces 187bhp power matched to a nine speed automatic gearbox. The new model will be assisted by JLR’s all terrain progress control technology. Currently, the locally assembled Range Rover starts at Rs. 49.2 lakh (ex-showroom) for the entry level variant.
