BMW to launch 2015 X3 by August in India

After launching the ActiveHybrid 7-series model, the German car maker BMW is now going to introduce the 2015 version of its midsized SUV X3 in Indian market. While this updated X3 has been already unveiled globally in February 2014, its India launch might hit the floor by the end of August and also the car will be available at its all nearest showrooms from the same time.

The slight price hike is being expected with this updation, though no confirmed reports have revealed yet by company. The ongoing price of X3 varies between 42.7-54.9 lakhs (ex-showroom New Delhi).

The 2015 X3 is powered by same 1995cc, 2.0 liter 4-cyl diesel engine like its predecessor which is responsible to churn out the max output of 184bhp and peak torque of 380Nm. The ongoing X3 accelerates 0-100 km/h in 8.5 seconds along with the top speed of 210 km/h.

Another diesel mill of ongoing X3 will also mark its presence in this updated version. It is 2993cc, 3.0 liter with 6-cyl reportedly develops the max power and torque of 258bhp and 560Nm respectively. This model accelerates 0-100 km/h in mere 6.2 seconds with top speed of 230 km/h.

The main and noticeable changes have been given in its exterior profile to provide the car a better refreshed glimpse than before. It is now designed with comparatively larger headlights with LED, new n modified kidney grille, redesigned bumpers at front n rear etc. At inside, cabin is looking more premium and it also gets revised interior upholstery with this updated 2015 version of BMW X3.

The luxurious BMW X3, in terms of price, competes with other top brand’s models like Audi Q5 etc in India.
