BMW Motorrad have launched their latest flagship adventure motorcycle, the R 1300 GS, in India at Rs. 20.95 lakh (Ex-Showroom, Delhi).
The ADV comes packed with an extensive array of electronics, connectivity features, riding modes and aids. Powering the motorcycle is a new 1,300cc, liquid-cooled boxer engine that puts out 145 hp and 149 Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox linked to a shaft drive system.
The bike comes in five variants – Light White, Triple Black 1, Triple Black 2, GS Trophy and, Option 719. They are categorised into three packages – Comfort, Dynamic and Touring.
The top variant, the Option 719, gets radar-assisted safety features such as Active Cruise Control and Front Collision Warning as well as other top spec bells and whistles.
