As reported earlier, Tata Motors has unveiled its two all-new next generationcars; one is Bolt hatchback (F4) while the other is Zest sedan (F5). These both models are going to represent the company in upcoming Auto Expo 2014 but will be launched later till the end of this year. Here we are flashing lights on the powers and feature equipments in this new hatchback Bolt.
Price:
Though, detailed and accurate price range is going to be revealed by the launch only but it might carry the cost between 4.94-5.99 lakhs.
Engine details:
The hatchback Bolt is built on the Tata Vista X1’s platform. It is going to be powered by a 1.2 liter turbocharged MPFI petrol engine which is from company’s all new Revotron family while the other fuel unit is a 1.3 liter Quadrajet diesel engine.
This petrol engine produces 83.8bhp of max power and 140Nm of peak torque while the diesel engine churns out the max output of 74bhp and 190Nm.
Space & Dimension:
This hatchback is 3825mm long, 1695mm wide and 1550mm tall which also carries the wheelbase of 2470mm and fuel tank capacity of 44 liters.
Interior & Exterior:
Company has made this car sporty by providing it a floating roof spoiler and fog lamp Bezels etc to justify its name Bolt. Tata Motors also claiming that this sporty and dynamic car represents an attitude of winning. Other than this, there is fine quality material used at inside the cabin which is giving a premium touch to this hatchback.
Road handling:
As per the company, both the cars perform well on road and provide you a comfortable and balanced ride. Like another new unveiled Tata’s model, it has the same braking and suspension system too. While the ventilated disc brakes are present at front, the drum brakes are at rear. Also, it has the dual path independent McPherson strut with antiroll bar at front while an independent 3-link McPherson strut with Antiroll bar at rear.
