Renault, a well known brand of India, also called as cousin of Nissan, is now all set to make a blast in Auto Expo 2014 with its not only 1-2 models but with expectedly 4 models. Out of these four, while three are facelift versions of its ongoing cars, the one is an all-new MPV. Let’s go in detail.
1. Renault Fluence facelift (sedan)
Price:
Being a facelift model, it’s just getting a modified face and equipments which might be resulted in price increment too. The ongoing Fluence sedan comes with the price tags of 13.6-15.2 lakhs.
Engine details:
It would carry the same engines like the ongoing sedan. These engines are 1.5 liter K9K diesel (108.5bhp, 240Nm) and 2.0 liter petrol (135bhp, 190Nm).
Glimpse wise, it has got some changes and renovations and now looking much fresh than ever.

Chevrolet Cruze and Skoda Octavia etc
2. Renault Duster facelift (SUV)
Price:
Its price range is expected to be increased with this facelift model coz of the new and modified features equipments. It might come with the price tags between 8.0 lakhs and 12.28 lakhs.
Engine details:
It would continue with the same engine units like the ongoing model which are 1.5 liter diesel and 1.6 liter petrol engines. While the diesel engine develops 84bhp and 110bhp of max power (as per the variants), its petrol variant produces 102bhp.
The diesel unit producing 84bhp and the petrol unit both are mated to a 5-speed while the 110bhp diesel unit is with 6-speed manual transmission gearboxes.
What’s exciting here is, company could arm a 1.2 liter TCe petrol engine good for developing 123.3bhp and 204Nm of max power and peak torque respectively. Also this new facelift Duster is a four-wheel-drive car which will directly give a tough fight to its main rival like XUV500 W4 variant, EcoSport etc.

3. Renault Koleos facelift (SUV)
Price:
The price of all new Koleos SUV is expected to start with around 24 lakhs which is quite more in comparison to other same segment models but approximately same as the ongoing Koleos.
Engine details:
The engine availability is same like the ongoing model which is a 2.0 liter M9R diesel engine producing the max power of 147.5bhp and peak torque of 320Nm.
While the ongoing Koleos has only one variant with four-wheel-drive system with automatic transmission, this facelift model also gets more variants having two-wheel-drive (4×2) + 6-speed manual and four-wheel-drive (4×4) + 6-speed manual transmissions along with the existing 4×4 automatic.

4. Renault Dacia Lodgy (MPV)
Price:
It’s the only all new model by Renault which is going to be showcased in upcoming Auto Expo 2014. The exact price could be known by the launch only but it might carry the price range between 7 to 9 lakhs.
Engine details:
It’s a seven seater vehicle which falls under the MPV category and based on the Duster platform. Hence it is expected to share the engine units of Duster i.e. 1.5 liter diesel and 1.6 liter petrol engines mated with 5-speed and 6-speed manual transmission as per the variants.
