In the queue of new launch cars at Auto Expo, Mercedes-Benz is also presenting its globally launched sedan CLA45 AMG which is all set now to unveil in this Expo Mart. In India, this German car maker has several other models of AMG segment but this one is said to have the lowest price among all same segment models. The company is planning to bring its entire line-ups of AMG segment one-by-one in India which are already running successfully worldwide. This model would be showcased in this Auto Expo but will launch later by the end of this year.
Price:
Reportedly, it would carry the price tag of around 60-65 lakhs which would make it most affordable car of Mercedes-Benz’s AMG segment in India. Currently, company’s C 63 AMG is the most affordable one having price tag of around 1 crore.
Engine details:
This luxury sedan is well equipped with an all new turbocharged and direct injected 2.0 liter inline-4 engine mated with 7-speed DCT transmission and produces 360bhp at 6000rpm of max power and 450Nm at 2250-5000rpm of peak torque. CLA is based on the new Modular Front Architecture (MFA) platform having transverse engine installation with the gearbox alongside and also it’s going to carry on the most of the elements of its A-class and B-class models. This new car has all-four-wheel drive system to ensure more safety and better handling.
Space:
It is a five-seater sedan carries overall dimension of 4691mm x 2032mm x 1416mm along with the wonderful wheelbase of 2699mm and boot space of 470 liters.
Interior & Exterior:
Mercedes is one of those brands which don’t compromise on the exterior as well as interior styling. It has 4-door coupe design and sport cabin styling, diamond-block grille etc which increases its glimpse very well. It would be better if we say that it’s the perfect model having combination of power and styling and design.
Safety features:
Safety wise, it has a long list here too which includes 10 airbags, brake assist (BA), antilock braking system (ABS), electronic stability program (ESP), rain sensing windshield wipers, 4-way power lumbar support for driver, brake HOLD feature etc. Though, the exact list could only be disclosed by the launch.
Road handling:
It is expected to have sport tuned 4-wheel independent suspension features a combination of McPherson struts and wishbones up front with a four-link design at rear. It is well engineered to balance quick-witted responsiveness with quite refinement and accelerates 0-100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds with the top speed of 250km/h.

Badge of Mercedes brand, availability of outstanding features, masculine engine etc are those points which are enough to give a tough fight to its rivals, competition is tough though. It’s the compact four-door luxury sedan by company which competes with Audi Q3 and BMW etc.
