Maruti Suzuki S-Cross petrol was announced at Auto Expo 2020 and this compact SUV will soon be available in India. It comes with the choice of a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic transmission. There are no changes in the aesthetics of the model but there are a few tweaks. Check out the details below:
Features
The model did not see any difference in terms of aesthetics. It has features similar to the Nexa model that includes a 7.0-inch touch screen, LED projector headlamps, cruise control, and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Engine
Maruti plans on ditching diesel engines and this model has a BS6 1.5-liter petrol engine along with the mild-hybrid tech. It has 4-speed AT and has the same engine power as other Maruti variants like Ciaz, XL6, Ertiga, and the Vitara Brezza which was unveiled recently too.
The petrol variant of Maruti Suzuki S-Cross continues to be a rival to Nissan Kicks, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Renault Duster. Its price range is expected to be between Rs 8.5 lakh to Rs 12 lakh
