Mini Cooper is all to launch the new Cooper Countryman at Auto Expo 2018. This model will be displayed along with its other models at the event. The Mini Countryman is the largest model and is aimed to be brand’s rugged soft off-roader. The company’s lineup for the Auto Expo is expected to include Cooper 3-Door, Cooper-5 Door, the Clubman, and Convertible. But, the main highlight of the stall will be the new next-generation Cooper Countryman.
Engine details
It is expected that the new Countryman will be equipped with 2.0-liter turbo petrol and diesel engine, similar to the current Countryman. In the international markets, it is sold with 1.5 and 2.0-liter petrol and diesel motors. According to the sources, the car might offer a four-wheel drive.
Interior
Talking about the interior the new Mini Countryman features an 8.8-inch touch screen infotainment system with a touch controller, LED ambient lighting, Harman Kardon sound system, and a heads-up display. The car has a similar design to the standard hatchback.
Exteriors
The new Countryman is larger with a 4299mm length, 1822mm width, and a 1557mm height along with a wheelbase measuring 2670mm. The front fascia of the model features the classic Mini grille with chrome trim, LED headlamps, fog lamps, daytime running lights and skid plate. The side profile of the vehicle sports body cladding which renders the hatchback a butch look. It also displays a roof spoiler, LED tail lamp cluster, twin chrome-tipped and exhaust pipes
Price
It is expected to be launched at a price rate of 40 Lakh INR (ex-showroom).
