Finally, Mahindra has launched the most-awaited XUV300 in India. The car is available in three variants: W4,W6,W8 and W8(O). This time Mahindra has increased the ground clearance and retuned the suspension and steering for the XUV300. The official bookings for the car have now started.
The Mahindra XUV300 is launched with two engine options: 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol that makes 110PS of maximum power and 200Nm of peak torque and a 1.5-liter diesel engine borrowed from Marazzo that makes 115PS/300Nm. Both engines are available with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Talking about the features, the new car gets a group of new features including 7 airbags, dual zone AC, front parking sensors, multiple steering modes, heater ORVMs and front and rear disc brakes.
Other features that the car offers include electric sunroof, auto projector headlamps with DRLs, rain sensing wipers, ESP, tyre direction monitor, TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system), and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For safety, the XUV300 is equipped with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchors and rear parking sensors as standard.
Mahindra XUV300 is available in six color options: Red Rage, Sunburst Orange, DSAT Silver, Napoli Black, Pearl White, and Aquamarine. Mahindra is also offering the sub-4m with two dual tone color options: Red with white roof and Aquamarine with a white roof.
The Mahindra XUV300 is based on the SsangYong Tivoli’s X100 platform, which has been revised and transformed to fit within the crucial sub-four-meter length. The XUV300 isl the widest compact SUV on sale in the country and is priced from INR 7.90 lakh to INR 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India).
The Mahindra XUV300 will rival with Maruti Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, and the Hyundai’s upcoming sub-4m SUV in the Indian market.
