When most automakers hike prices across its range, Land Rover India has announced the massive cut in the prices of its popular SUVs. The locally assembled Land Rover Discovery Sport now comes with Rs. 4 lakh discount while Range Rover Evoque gets around Rs. 3 lakh reduction. Britain’s exit for European Union has affected the economy and stock markets across the globe.
The price slash story not limited to locally assembled models, the imported Range Over sport gets Rs. 30 lakh off while Range Rover Evoque gets a massive Rs. 50 lakh off. The Land Rover Discovery Sport now starts Rs. 43.80 lakhs instead of Rs. 48.06 lakh, which is a massive price slash of Rs. 4 lakhs.
The Range Rover Evoque base variant was earlier priced at Rs, 49.10 lakh but will now be sold for Rs. 45.85 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Land Rover Discovery Sport’s gets a new 2.0-litre Ingenium motor available in two states of tunes- 147 bhp and 177 bhp. The engine promises improved fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions, thanks to its all-aluminium construction and advanced technology.
