Last year, Ford has slashed prices of Endeavour range by up to Rs. 2.82 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The price drop was done to boost SUV sales ahead of the festive season and to undercut its rival Toyota Fortuner. Now Ford has increased prices of Trend and Titanium variants of Endeavour in India. For 2017, New Endeavour is priced from 23.78 lakh to Rs. 30.89 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Ford hasn’t disclosed reason behind the price increase but it seems to be taken due to rising production cost. Ford Endeavour 2.2 l 4*4 MT gets the biggest price hike of Rs. 2.85 lakh which now comes at Rs. 26.63 lakh against the 23.78 lakh. The 3.2l AWD AT trend receives a price rise of Rs. 1.75 lakh and it now available for Rs. 27.68 lakh against its older price of Rs. 27.68 lakh.
The 3.2l AWD 4*4 AT titanium variant now cost at Rs. 30.89 lakh against its old price of Rs. 29.76 lakh getting a price rise of Rs. 1.13 lakh. The 2.2l 4*2 AT is now offered at Rs. 27.93 lakh against its older price of Rs. 27.50 lakh, witnessing the price rise of Rs. 43,000. All the mentioned prices are of ex-showroom Delhi.
New Ford Endeavour is available in two diesel engines- 2.2l engine makes 158bhp power and 385Nm of torque, linked to a six speed manual and six speed automatic gearbox. The bigger 3.2 litre engine can develop 197bhp and 470Nm torque and comes mated to a six speed automatic gearbox.
