When most of the car manufactures in the country are looking for price increase, the American automotive giant Ford has announced a massive price cut on its recently launched Endeavour SUV. At launch, the starting price was at Rs. 24.75 which was further increased by Rs. 50,000 thanks to excise duty imposed after union budget. This might be the strategy to stay competitive as Toyota Fortuner is slated for launch in the coming months.
With festive season around, the price reduction decision makes car most affordable deal in the segment which may also influence sales volume in a positive way. Toyota New Fortuner is surely going to face stiff competition from Endeavour and this price cut would make things trickier for the Japanese SUV.
