2017 Hyundai i30 teased ahead of Paris Motor show

After teasing its evangelist for ages, the i30 premium hatchback has been revealed officially via set of teaser images. The car is scheduled to make its official debut on 7th September at 2016 Paris motor show which kick starts from October 1st and will conclude on 16th October 2016. Entirely designed and developed I Europe, i30 will boast next era evolved design philosophy of the company.

The teaser images confirm that the hatchback has grown from the design seen on Hyundai i40 which includes new hexagonal aka cascading front grille with chrome outlining and big Hyundai logo at the centre, sweptback projector headlamps with LED DRLs and boomerang shaped Fog lamps on front bumper.

Coming to the rear which showcases wide windscreen, LED reflectors on the bumpers and Creta like wide tail lamps. The rear bumper has been tweaked to make profile fractionally sharper and aggressive. The interiors aren’t revealed yet but we can expect significant jump in terms of quality and tech features. In addition, the car will sit on slight longer wheelbase; hence it will be more spacious than the ongoing model.

Based on sub N brand, the hatch will sport a 2.0l Tour four cylinder turbo engine to belt out 200PS power and there will be flew of petrol and diesel engine options available as well. Front wheel drive and a six speed manual transmission will be offered as standard while six speed dual clutch automatic transmission will be available as optional.

Hyundai will offer the latest I series model in three different body styles- five door hatchback, four door coupe and five door estate. Just to let you know, Hyundai i30 will not make its way to the Indian market at least by the end of 2017.
