Nissan Motors India, the official partner of the International cricket council till 2023 has revealed the world T20 special editions of Micra active hatchback and Terrano SUV to cash in the buzz of the forthcoming major event. The carmaker has signed an eight sponsorship deal with the ICC for the major event such as ICC cricket world twenty-20, Under 19 World cup, 50 Over World cup and other cricketing events.
As for the special editions, both the models come with graphics upgrades. Terrano bears white contrast color decals on both outside and inside with special black color shade, silver shaded rear skid plates, glossy piano black finish central console etc. While other features such as dual airbags, all four power windows, ABS, EBD with brake assist, 6.2 inch touchscreen AVN infotainment system remain same as the standard variants.
Micra Active comes with white Outer rear view mirrors (ORVMs), door handles and contrast roof spoiler. Other features on the special edition include manual AC, driver airbag, ABS with EBD, 12V power socket, 4 speakers audio system, keyless entry etc. Both the models are graced with the autographs of some cricketers.
Mechanically both remains unaltered, Nissan Terrano continues to draw power from the 4-cylinders 1.5l DCi diesel engine that produces 85PS@3750rpm and high torque of 200Nm@1900rpm, matched to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The WT20 Micra Active edition is powered by the 1198cc petrol motor that’s good for 68@5000 and 104Nm@4000rpm.
