2015 BMW 1-series facelift officially revealed

German luxury car maker BMW had a silent 2014 but they want to start 2015 in good manner as its competitor Audi and Mercedes had a tremendous 2014 because both them of ticked 10,000 sales figure mark in the bygone year. In 2015 as well Audi and Mercedes are lining up with more than 10 new models and Mercedes with 15 new models with the investment of Rs. 150 crore.

BMW has taken the wraps off from its new and refreshed BMW X1 with some much needed cosmetic and mechanical changes with the new range of three cylinder engines but these new engines might not for India.

Some Changes to the exterior profile is revised kidney front grille, new front bumper with larger air dam, aggressive headlamps with LED daytime running lights, full LED lights with high beam assist as optional equipment. Side profile looks muscular than ever with flared wheel arches, new alloy wheel patterns and new character lines.

Rear profile of Old GEN X1 was too simple and weird but new X1 rear side looks far better thanks to two piece L-shaped characteristic LED tail lights.

Apart from the exterior profile cabin of X1 sports some changes like BMW radio professional idrive operating system, 6.5 inch head up display, a controller mounted unit on the center console, single zone climate control with white light in day and orange light in during night and dual zone control system as optional, piano black finish central console, a/c vents and radio with chrome accents.

Other features include run flat tyres; rain sensors for automatic windscreen wipers, tyre pressure indicator are some of the standard features in new BMW X1 which is available for no extra cost.

2015 BMW-1 series will be available in three and four cylinder petrol and diesel engines as follows:
