Mercedes Benz is on a roll nowadays with the two launch in the month September 2014 and one more likely to come on 30th of this month has revealed another Sensational car B class facelift which is all set to hit the floors in 2015. Mercedes Benz has published all the details and images with 2015 B- class facelift which is to be shown at Paris motor show next month.
Current version B class looks like a MPV segment vehicle which as a result developed many haters, So Mercedes has decided to give new B class sportier look and trying to make it a better package. 2015 B-class is different from current B class version like it gets new front and rear bumper, new wider LED headlights, wider radiator and larger front air dam.
Rear of new B-class gets a new chrome band on the boot and two color LED lights; it will also get keyless entry and go as an option. Mercedes has provided a Midas touch to the interiors of new B-class with increased headroom as a plus point. The layout of interiors especially at the meter panel is graceful with 12 colored choices for ambient LED lighting, 8 inch standing display and Mercedes connect me feature as standard.
2015 Mercedes will be available in three variants urban, style and AMG line and also have the option of three additional kits- Night, exclusive and AMG exclusive.
Mercedes B-class to come in same mechanics as the current version, starting with B180 the 1.6L which produces 120BHP power and 200 nm torque, B200 with 154BHP power and 250nm torque, B220 4 Matic 2.0L engine develops 181.5BHP power and 300n torque with all wheel drive and B250 with 208BHP power and 350nm torque.
On the contrary four Diesel engines starting from the first B160 1.5L developing 88.8BHP power and 240nm torque, secondly B180 CDI with 107.5BHP power and 260nm torque, followed by 2.1L B200 produce 134.2BHP power and 300nm torque and B220 CDI produces 174.6BHP power and 350nm torque.
At last, B-class electric drive is equipped with 177.6BHP power and 340nm torque. 28KWH battery runs 137 km on one charge which takes three and a half hour to get full charged and it zooms 0-100 in 7.9 seconds with the top speed of 160 km/hr.
2015 B-class will debut in Europe on 29th November 2014 with the options of four Petrol and four Diesel options which is expected to launch during the first quarter of 2015 in India. Price is expected a ted higher than the current one in the market which is 28.30-30.49 lakhs (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
