The countdown to the biennial auto expo has already begun, organized by the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), Society of Indian Automobiles Manufacturers (SIAM) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) it is stickered as Asia’s biggest motor show. The grand event is slated from 5th-9th February 2016 at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida in chorus with ‘The Auto Expo Component show’ to be held from 4-7th February 2016 at Pragati Maidan.

Tagged in as “Bigger, Better and More exciting”, the event expecting over hundreds of exhibitors from 30 countries. The Panel expects around 6 lakh visitors in this edition which is rise by 20 percent. The Indoor stadium area has increased from 42,000 sqm in the previous edition, to around 50,000 sqm in 2016. The event has six new large halls with an additional carpet area of 37240 sqms.

What’s in Store?

Apart from huge footfalls, excitement levels can be mainly endorsed to the number of companies’ chipping in the forthcoming automotive affair. The Motor Show will witness participation of Vehicle manufacturers such as Maruti Suzuki India, Hyundai motors India, Ford India, Honda Cars, Renault India, Mahindra and Mahindra, Tata motors, Datsun, Volkswagen India, Toyota Kirloskar motors, Nissan India, Audi India, General motors, BMW India, Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz India, SML, Isuzu Motors, VE commercial vehicles, Ashok Leyland in the four wheeler segment.

Besides well known and veterans players in the industry, the 2016 will witness some new brands displaying their technologies and vehicles like- DSK Benelli, Indian motorcycles, Jeep, Abarth and BMW Motorrad etc. Auto expo is not all about four wheelers or commercial vehicles; the edition will also see some two wheelers manufactures like Suzuki Motorcycle India, TVS motors, Mahindra two wheelers, Yamaha India, Triumph Motorcycles, Hero motocorp etc. Sadly Big names like Royal Enfield, Volvo India, Bajaj auto and Harley Davidson will miss this edition.

Ticket and Timing details:

The tickets for 2016 auto expo can be booked on the Auto Expo’s official website www.autoexpo-themotorshow.in along with www.bookmyshow.com, the ticketing associate for the event. The event day is sub divided into two categories- Business hours and public hours and below is the breakeven details of the timings along with the ticket pricing:-

If you’re booking 3-10 tickets before 31st December 2015 then you can get tickets at home and that too for no delivery charges. Otherwise on single or two tickets Rs. 75 per booking shall be imposed for buyers opting for home delivery till 25th January 2016. If you have booked your tickets but homer delivery is not opted then you can collect tickets itself from the exchange counters located at the parking area near the venue.

How to get there?

The event location is far away from Delhi but reaching there is not going to be heck of task as the venue shall be more accessible thanks to the free shuttle service offered from metro stations like Noida City centre, Botanical garden. There is around 150 DTC buses available from Pragati Maidan pressed into service. The Smartphone app is also available to help you navigate the various exhibits at the venue. There will also be a 1000 sq meters food court arena with over 60 stalls where you can find renowned participants from BTW to KFC and many more. To keep you and the event safe, it is protected by the three layer security of CISF.
