The luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz is having a strategic focus on its AMG brand in India and in this process company has launched one more AMG model on 15th May 2014 namely Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG. This new model falls under SUV category which is said to have a sporty and superior performance and justifying its AMG badge. Additionally, Mercedes-Benz also inaugurated India’s first AMG performance Center in Delhi at T and T Motors.

Price:

The new ML63 AMG is priced at 1.49 crores (ex-showroom Delhi).

Engine details:

This AMG model of Mercedes-Benz is equipped with a powerful 5461cc, 5.5 liter, 8-cylinder biturbo engine which is responsible to develop the impressive max power and peak torque of 549.82bhp and 760Nm respectively. This powerful engine is mated to AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission.

As per the company, the AMG version also uses a specially designed transfer case for its 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive which transfers the drive power at a ratio of 40:60 to its front and rear axle.

The SUV is said to accelerate 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds with the top speed of 250 km/h (electronically limited).

Space:

The muscular ML63 AMG carries a wonderful car boot of 690 liters, min. turning radius of 5.9m and fuel tank capacity of 93 liters.

Interior:

At inside cabin, it is designed with electrically adjustable AMG sports seats wrapped in Designo leather, door centre panels, door and central console armrests, AMG performance 4-spoke steering wheel in nappa leather, ambient lighting in three colors i.e. white, amber and blue. It also gets two 20.3cm displays, 830 watts Harman Kardon Logic 7 surround sound system along with 14 high-performing speakers, wireless headphones and 2 infrared remote controls.

Exterior:

While at outside, it features typically upright ML Class radiator grille with the Mercedes-star at centre and also armed with high-gloss slats painted in black. To justify the AMG badge, it carries front apron with its large openings and AMG specific LED daytime driving lights which are giving the SUV a dynamic and dominant look.
