Honda has launched its trendy sedan Amaze one year ago in April 2013 and as per the company, it has sold more than 80,000 units of this car since its launch. And hence, to celebrate its success and first anniversary, Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has launched Amaze Anniversary Edition in India on 15th April 2014.

This celebration edition has come with some cosmetic changes in its interior and exterior.

Price:

This Anniversary Edition of Honda Amaze will be available at a special price of Rs. 71,861 over the price of the standard ‘VX’ and ‘S’ variants.

Currently, Amaze S variant’s price varies from 5.69-6.70 lakhs while the Amaze VX variant’s price is within bracket of 6.64-7.55 lakhs.

Engine details:

No mechanical changes have been done in it. It still is powered by same 1.5 liter i-DTEC diesel developing 98.63bhp and 200Nm of max power and torque while the other mill is 1.2 liter i-VTEC petrol engine churning out the max power of 86.79bhp and peak torque of 109Nm.

The petrol engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission along with 5-speed automatic as optional while the diesel unit is geared up with just a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox.

As far as its fuel efficiency is concerned, Amaze offers claimed mileage figures of 18.0 km/l (in petrol MT), 15.5 km/l (in petrol AT) and impressive 25.8 km/l (in diesel MT).

Space & Dimension:

Just like the other ongoing variants of Amaze, it is 3990mm long, 1680mm wide and 1505mm tall and carries wheelbase, clear height and car boot of 2405mm, 165mm and 400 liters, respectively.

Interior & Exterior:

The Amaze’s Anniversary Edition comes equipped with various sporty features like under-spoiler at front, side under-spoiler, under-spoiler at rear, trunk-spoiler along with door visors and exhaust pipe finisher etc.

The interiors of the car have been further enhanced too with premium upholstery and contrasting wooden finish panel on the dashboard. The sedan will also have an ‘Anniversary Edition’ emblem to reflect this special edition and will be available in ‘VX’ and ‘S’ variants in both Petrol and Diesel.
