After the launch of M5 few days BMW has launched all new BMW M3 Sedan and BMW M4 coupe on 27th November 2014 in a unique way at Buddha International Circuit, Greater Noida. M twins are more sort of sport cars and priced above 1 crore INR. BMW M3 the four door saloon was first showcased in Detroit motor show in January 2014 which is now launched in India with its two door sibling i.e. M4 Coupe.

Price:

After launching BMW M5 1.35 crore earlier in India, BMW launches all new M3 sedan at Rs. 1.19 crore and M4 Coupe at Rs. 1.21 crore ex showroom pan-India.

Engine Details:

Based on different body style but they are powered to a same engine of 3.0L twin turbo charged 6 cylinder Petrol engine which churns out 431bhp power@5500-7300rpm and peak torque of 550Nm between 1850-5500rpm 40% more than Previous M3 Sedan. Both the cars are mated to seven speed M dual clutch automatic transmission and active suspension as standard.

Both powerhouse cars sprint 0-100 km in just 4.1 sec with the top speed of 250 km/hr and these M twins are now 25% more fuel efficient thanks to lower CO2 emission level. M3 comes with adaptive M suspension with three modes- Comfort, Sport and Sport+.

Space and Dimensions:

BMW M3 sedan is 4671mm lengthy, 2037mm wide and 1430mm tall while M4 Coupe shares same length as M3 but lesser height and width which stands at 4671×2014×1383mm respectively. Wheelbase of Both the cars is same at 2812mm and the mileage of 10.75 KPL.

Exterior and Interior:

Let’s first talk about M3 which looks mature now from previous Gen model fresh bonnet, revised front kidney grille black and chrome finish, LED headlights with four LED daytime running lights rings, Air dam with Logo. On the other hand M4 Coupe moreover looks same but kidney shaped grille with sleek headlights differentiates it from M3 Sedan and it looks more aggressive than M3.

Inside the Cabin M3 Sedan gets 8.8 inch touchscreen at the centre console with the updated BMW’s infotainment system and Apps which can be manage through iDrive touch controller, dual zone air condition system, ambient lighting with mood lights, M sport bucket seats with M logo, IRVM with automatic anti-dazzle function, carbon roof, multifunction steering wheel with gear shift paddles, electronic lumber support for driver and front passenger, premium leather carbon structure anthracite upholstery as standard but one can choose from various available options.

Colors:

M3 and M4 are available in eight vibrant colors- Sakhir Orange, Yas Marina Blue, Austin Yellow, Mineral Grey, Mineral White, Silverstone, Black Sapphire and Alpine White.

Safety:

M twins are attractive looking cars but they car quite safe too loaded with various safety features like CBC (cornering Brake control), DSC (dynamic stability control) with M dynamic mode (MDM), electronic vehicle immobilizer, ABS (anti-lock braking system) with brake assist, 8 airbags including two front airbags, knee airbag, head airbags for front and rear and side airbags for front passengers.

Apart from that it is equipped with dynamic braking lights, crash sensor, and side i8mpact protection, three point seat belts with belt tensioners and force limiters. Both the cars comes loaded with BMW condition based system i.e. intelligence maintenance system, rear view camera, park distance control.
