It’s no secret that Jaguar will bring new XF models later this year but the question is whether it’s for Indian market or not? Jaguar has recently launched new range of XF models in UK with some premium features which adds great aesthetic value to them. Jaguar will launch new XF range in India by second half of this year.

Jaguar recently introduced XF-R sport black variant which sports new sporty seats with memory function, five paint shade option, 20 inch Kalimnos alloy wheels, a black pack and 770W meridian surround system.

XF-R sport variant is powered to a 2.2L turbocharged diesel engine which is responsible to produce 197bhp power and 450Nm torque paired to an eight speed automatic transmission.

Entire XF range is now equipped with heated windscreen, meridian system, heated seats, rear view camera, front parking sensors, newly designed alloy wheels, winter comfort pack, parking pack and blind spot monitor (higher variants only) as standard equipments.

Internationally we might see changes in the engines of Jaguar XF range but for India no such changes are expected, Jaguar will continue to offer R sport and portfolio with 2.2 diesel or 2.0L petrol engines. Though it’s too early to make any specific prediction about the engines but no drastic changes expected at least for Indian version.

Jaguar will showcase the new GEN XF at the New York auto show in April 2015 with European sales are expected to begin from September 2015 and Indian market to get this new range of XF models by the end of this year.

Managing director, Jaguar Land Rover, Jeremy Hicks said, “The XF combines style, luxury, comfort and the kind of sporty drive that only Jaguars deliver. That’s why it has always been popular with customers and, thanks to the addition of R-Sport Black and our 2015 range enhancements, it now offers even better value for money.”
