Maruti to Recall 69,555 units of Dzire, Swift and Ritz to Rectify Faulty Issues

Maruti, India’s largest car manufacture today came with some unusual news; we are saying unusual because this news is regarding the faulty elements that Maruti found in some their car which is not familiar for us. Maruti said through a press release that they will recall the 69,555 units of Top selling cars like Ritz, Dzire and Swift.

Maruti will recall 55,938 units of Dzire sedan old model, 12,486 units of Swift and 1131 units of Ritz to fix up some faulty wiring harness issue.  Maruti will call these diesel cars which were manufactured during March 2010 to August 2013.

If you want to know whether your car is being recalled or not? Go to Maruti website with Chassis number MA3 or MAH followed by 14 digit alpha numeric number and you can find out their whether your vehicle is in the list or not. You can go directly to the service centre to get your vehicle check.

Maruti Suzuki said that, “This exercise does not pertain to any other model of the company or its exports”.

Maruti dealers will contact the owners of affected vehicles and then send their engineers to rectify the occurred problem and Maruti will not charge anything for this repair services it will be free of cost.

During April Maruti Suzuki had recalled more than 1 lakh units of popular models of Ertiga, Swift and Dzire to replace faulty fuel filler neck manufactured during November 2013 and February 2014.
