Mahindra’s most anticipated SUV is set to make its way to the Indian Market on 25th September 2014, Scorpio has been one of the most successful SUV Since its launch in 2002. The New Mahindra Scorpio is spotted testing quite a few times now, M&M dealers have started taking deliveries from 15 September Current Scorpio owners have given first preference for 3 days (15-17) September others can book New Scorpio from 18th onwards for the amount of Rs. 18,000.

The Facelift Mahindra gets more aggressive front fascia with new headlamps, new grille and revamped front bumper. Regular bulbs will be replaced by Projector headlamps; Side profile however would remain same though new set of alloy wheels could be offered.

Inside the cabin, New Scorpio gets 7” Touchscreen infotainment system with navigation system and rear view camera display, redesigned information cluster, Climate control system, Revised A/C vents, upgraded dashboard and steering mounted controls. The power window switches have been moved to windows which were earlier at the central console.

The updated Scorpio will not get updation in Engine it will continue to feature by same 2.2L mHawk diesel engine which produces 120BHP power and 290nm torque. Scorpio will be mated with all new five speed gearbox, there are also rumor about automatic gearbox. Better handling and better fuel efficiency can be expected.

Scorpio will be available in five body colors which are Molten Red, Regal blue, Diamond white, Fiery black and Mist Silver.

According to sources, Scorpio will be available in Five Variants- S2, S4, S6, S8 and S10.
