Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder: Price, Specifications and Features

Italian Supercar maker Lamborghini has expanded Huracan family in India by launching Huracan RWD Spyder at Rs. 3.45 crore (ex-showroom Delhi). It is drop top version of standard Huracan RWD Spyder which was first showcased at 2016 Los Angeles auto show. The RWD Spyder is fifth model in the Huracan range in India after Avio (limited edition), Spyder, RWD coupe and coupe. To keep things fashionable, the launch took place on the sidelines of Fashion at Lakme Fashion week 2017.  The RWD Huracan is available for bookings at your nearest Lamborghini dealership and commands a waiting period of three-four months.

Engine Details

Under the hood of RWD Spyder is a raging bull in the form of a 5.2l V10 motor which dishes out 580bhp of power along with a whopping torque of 540Nm. Power is sent to rear wheels via a 7-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. The set up is enough to make RWD Spyder sprint 0-100 in 3.6 seconds which is slower by 0.3 seconds as compared to its siblings while whacking the top speed of 316km/hr.

The Supercar comes equipped with ANIMA (Adaptive network intelligent management) featuring three drive modes- Strada, sport and Corsa. The car is 120Kgs heavier than standard Spyder and offers a combined fuel efficiency of 8.3 Kmpl.

Space and Dimensions

At tape, the door car measures 4459mm in length, 1924mm in width, 1180mm in height and sits on the wheelbase of 2620mm.

Colors

Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder is available in 24 different colors including Arancio Borealis, Grigio Nimbus Metallic, Grigio Vulcano, Grigio Grey, Grigio Titans, Rosso Mars, Verde Turbine Green, Grigio Lynx and Bianco Monocerus Solid to name a few.

Exterior and Interior

Like Huracan Spyder, the RWD version sports similar design like same sloping bonnet, Sweptback headlights with W shaped LED daytime running lights, three huge air intakes, heated and foldable ORVMs, tail mounted rear spoiler and sleek LED tail lights. However, the RWD comes with some differentiators like reworked front-rear bumpers to improve downforce and new 19 inch silver alloy wheels in Pirelli PZero tyres specifically designed for RWD Spyder. The Soft roof top can be open or close in 17 seconds even at the speed of up to 50km/hr.

As for the cabin, it boasts all black cabin with yellow detailing all over and Lamborghini’s logo embedded on the headrest. For some personalization touch, it is available with host of styling options. For safety, it includes four airbags, side protection system, ABS, TCS, electronic stability control and front-rear specific collapsible areas etc.
