LaFerrari to be showcased at 2015 Parx Supercar rally

Ferrari’s limited edition Hybrid sports car LaFerrari will be displayed on Seventh edition of Parx sports car exhibition in Mumbai on 11 January 2015 to be organized by race car passionate and business tycoon who is a managing director of Raymond Group, Gautam Singhania who owns Super car club also. This car was sent by Ferrari from Italy to Mumbai just specially for this Supercar Parade, which will take place at Mahalaxmi race course Mumbai.

Around 80 supercars to be showcased at the Supercar show plus for the first time ever Superbikes will be displayed as well. This raft of supercars will include cars from Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Maserati, Porsche, BMW, Audi, Mercedes Benz, Bentley and Rolls Royce. But the main centre of attraction will be Ferrari’s exclusive edition LaFerrari because it is for the first time that LaFerrari will be displayed on Indian soil.

Gautam Singhania says “There are only 499 of these cars produced in the world and this is the first one in India,”. This stunning looking supercar is powered by 6.3L V12 engine which produces a whopping power of 789bhp and its electric motor produces additional 161bhp power which makes the total to 950bhp power and 900Nm of peak torque. Laferrari reaches 100 km mark under 3 seconds and 350 km mark in just 15 seconds. LaFerrari costs around Rs. 10 crore without any Tax.

Parx rally will whoosh through the roads of Mumbai like Bandra-Worli sea link, Haji Ali, Peddar road, Marine drive, Nariman point, Bandra east flyover, Worli Sea face, Haji Ali to end at turf club. The cars will be displayed at the Race course on 10th January 2015 from 10 am to 6 pm while parade will take place on 11th January between 11am-1.30 pm and most important thing is entry is absolutely free for the event.
