Punto EVO is much talked about car nowadays especially about the changes in design, interiors etc. Fiat Punto EVO competes in hatchback segment where other big players are already making the statement with some powerful cars like Polo and Elite i20. With New design and new hope, could EVO being able to connect emotionally as well with the masses. We found some users who gave their valuable opinions on it.
Likes:
- It comforts my pocket- “Punto EVO is a good car with great looks, good features and probably the best thing it is available in very affordable price”. Said by a user. Initially, Punto EVO is least price car among i20 and Polo.
- Heart throbbing design- Many of the EVO users have been impressed by Punto EVO’s design, specially the front side having new bumpers, new placing of it logo and OVRM’s with blinkers. Overall picture of EVO looks astonishing.
- Tail Lamps takes my heart with it – Punto users has been mesmerized with the Punto EVO’s new Tail lights. One of the user said,” I want to swap my Punto’s tail lights with new one because it is so damn beautiful”.
- Ultra smooth ride and handling- Many of the Punto EVO users are impressed with Ride and handling ability of the sportier demon EVO. Indian roads are not so smooth for Indian roads you need a good suspension and ground clearance which EVO is very good at.
Dislikes:
- Old is not gold every time – Punto EVO arrived with not much change in its engines they are a bit wobbly, lacks power as well. One of the user said, ‘EVO engine is a re old version of Punto and I miss the fun while driving’.
- OMG its Linea – Many of the users literally felt they are sitting in Fiat Linea rather than in EVO because of the resemblance of Linea’s interiors. Company should differentiate at least some of the features from their other cars in order to get some refreshing touch.
- Head v/s heart Decision- Fiat Punto EVO might make you confuse whether to buy it just for the sake of its design and price or not to buy it for the better alternatives available in the market. Emotionally as well it was not able to connect with the masses.
- Price is not everything- “Price is less but performance doesn’t yield any good figures to support that, Suspension and mileage is good but when it comes to fun element it falls behind” said by the user. Diesel engine noisiness also justifies it.
- Lack of features- Many of the users complains about the absenteeism of some necessary standard features like ABS+EBD in base variant, music system in base variant puts extra cost weight on consumer’s shoulders. While rivals cars carrying these features as standard.
