Fiat launches powerful Linea 125S in India at Rs. 7.82 lakh

Fiat Chrysler automobiles India has rolled out a powerful version of its sedan Linea dubbed as Linea 125S. Priced at Rs. 7.82 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), it now becomes the most powerful sedan in the C-segment thanks to this power tap. Fiat Avventura and Punto Evo also updated with new power tech range of engines along with features upgradation. Fiat is also offering 1 lakh Kilometers or 3 years warranty with Linea 125S.

Let’s start with powertrain first, Linea 125S has a 1.4l turbocharged petrol engine that belts out 124bhp of max output@5000rpm and peak torque of 210Nm@2200rpm. The engine is linked to a 5-speed manual gearbox only. Apart from 125S badge rest of the vehicle is identical to standard Linea while to spruce up things inside, it receives a 5 inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, dual front airbags, all four disc brakes, soft touch IP with ambient lighting and rear sun curtain etc.

Just like standard Linea, this powerful version is also the longest sedan in segment with 4500mm length and measures 1730mm in width, 1494mm in height and sits on the decent wheelbase of 2603mm. It offers best in class wheelbase of 190mm and provides huge boot space of 500 liters.

The sedan also gets some executive features such as Cruise control, 16 inch alloy wheels, rain sensing wipers, Anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake force distribution (EBD), single touch power windows and automatic headlamps.
