Renault Duster Petrol CVT launched in India at Rs 10.32 lakh

Renault India has silently launched CVT petrol version of Duster that has been priced at Rs. 10.32 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Based on RXS variant, it is also available with 2WD configuration. Duster petrol automatic would take on Honda BR-V CVT, Ford EcoSport 1.5 AT and Hyundai Creta SX+ AT in the Indian market. The 2017 petrol duster gets 1.5L H4K petrol engine, which replaces the 1.6 liter motor.

The Petrol CVT is powered by a 1.5l four cylinder engine that makes 106PS power@5600rpm and 142Nm of torque@4000rpm, linked to a six speed X-tronic CVT automatic gearbox. It is available with multi drive mode such as P (parking), N (Neutral), D (Drive), R (reverse) and a 6-speed manual mode option. It delivers an ARAI fuel efficiency of 14.99 Kmpl.

In terms of design, it features dual winged front grille flanked by dual tone front bumper, side decals, exclusive 16 inch gunmetal finish alloy wheels, new ORVMs in black color, tail gate decal, water fall LED tail lamps and black door side sill. The Duster automatic will be available in a new Fiery Red paint.

On the inside, the AT Duster gets crimson black theme with double spacer seat fabric, sporty red finish door trim and black door handles. For entertainment, it sports a 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and audio-video display.

For safety, dual front airbags, ABS (Anti-lock braking system) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), hill start assist, brake assist, rapid deceleration warning, speed sensitive door lock and impact sensing door unlock, ESP, remote central locking, rear defogger are some of the standard safety feature of the new petrol CVT.
