The Range rover lovers can now buy LWB (Long wheelbase) Autobiography edition in India at Rs. 3.75 crores for the diesel variant while petrol version is priced at Rs. 3.85 crores both the prices are of ex-showroom Delhi. The Autobiography edition made its debut in 2013 Los Angeles motor show and was showcased in India at 2014 Auto expo.

The LWB edition has been developed by Land Rover’s “engineered to order” (ETO) division and being the longer wheelbase variant the rear legroom has increased by 140mm for the second row passengers with a power door blinds.

The LWB Autobiography black variant comes with 1+1 seating configuration for the rear seats which can be inclined to 17 degrees i.e. 8 degrees more than the standard variant.

LWB Autobiography black edition gets some cosmetic changes which make it different from standard car like it flaunts distinct front grille, seven spoke 21”/22” aluminum brushed alloy wheels, chrome touch at rear side, new tail lamp units what Land Rover calls “signature tail lights” and three new exclusive body paint options.

Centre of attraction in LWB Autobiography black is definitely its cabin which gets various customization options, luxurious features than standard car. Inside the LWB Autobiography black you will get Bespoke set cover design for leather seats with choice of color combinations, driver seat have 18-way adjustability function and rear front seats have massaging function as well.

Rear seats can be reclined more that standard model with power recline button, gets lumbar massage, integrated 10.2 inch infotainment screens with navigation and entertainment, calf rest and leather draped parcel shelf. Apart from that there is a central console between the rear seats that contains various controls like climate control, seat heating, chiller, electrically deployable tables with integrated USB ports, door blinds and mood lighting.

The LWB Autobiography black edition diesel variant gets the power from 4.4L SDV8 diesel engine that is rated to deliver 335bhp power@3500rpm and 740Nm torque@1750-2300rpm and the petrol version is powered by 5.0L Supercharged V8 engine developing 510bhp power@6000-6500rpm and 625Nm of peak torque@2500-5500rpm.

Both the engines are the matched to an 8 speed automatic transmission.
