During the auspicious days of Navratis Maruti Suzuki has launched the limited edition of Celerio Hatchback named as ‘Maruti Celerio Vxi+’ on 26th September 2014. This limited edition carries no mechanical changes but Maruti has brought some cosmetic and interior changes. Maruti Celerio Vxi will go on sale for limited period of time; it will be available in Lxi and Vxi variants. This introduction by Maruti will certainly attract the buyers.
The changes that differentiate Limited edition Celerio from the Current Celerio are Body painted ORVM’s (Outer rear View Mirrors) with LED Turn indicator, Body colored door handles. In the cabin, Celerio Vxi gets JVC 2 DIN music system with MGA brand multi speakers. From Safety point of view it is equipped with Hi tech security System.
This Vxi package would cost you for Rs. 20,000 but Maruti is offering it for Rs. 13,990 for limited period of time due to festival season.
Under the hood, Maruti Celerio is continuing to offer same 1.0L 4 Cylinder Petrol engine which develops decent 67BHP power@6000rom and peak torque of 90nm@3500rpm. This 1.0L is mated with 5 Speed manual transmission and 5 Speed automatic gearbox giving power to front wheels. It churns out decent fuel economy of 23.1 KPL.
Celerio Vxi MT will cost you around Rs. 4.05 lakhs so Vxi+ will be around Rs. 4.19 lakhs (approx) both the prices are Ex- showroom Delhi.
In recent times Maruti has come up with limited edition of its various cars like Swift as Swift Silver plus, Swift Dzire as Dzire Regalia, Wagon R as Wagon R Krest and now Celerio as Celerio Vxi. Maruti wants to grab as much market share during the festive season. Besides, Limited editions Maruti is all set to shake the automotive market with it’s much hyped and anticipated Ciaz which will launch next month and Swift facelift is also on the cards in the month of October.
