Jaguar F-Pace details revealed, listed on official website

A few days ago Jaguar Land Rover India has imported the premium SUV F-Pace to India for homologation and now it is found listed on company’s official website with all the details hinting its launch is just around the corner. Revealed at 2016 Auto Expo, the Jaguar is expected to launch the SUV by in the next 2-3 months. To be brought via CBU route, it will lock its horns against the likes of BMW X3, Porsche Macan, Audi Q5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE.

As per the official listing, the F-Pace will be offered in three trims- Pure, prestige and R-Sport. The first edition is also listed on the website hinting towards its availability at the time of launch. All the trims will get an eight speed automatic gearbox with All-wheel drive (AWD) configuration as standard.

Variant wise features analysis of Jaguar F-Pace:-

Pure Trim:-

The base variant comes fitted with premium features such as two zone automatic climate control, cruise control with speed limiter, 10 way power adjustable front seats, All surface progress control system, power and heated folding wing mirrors, front-rear parking sensors, In control touchscreen infotainment system and brake pad wear indicator etc.

Prestige:

The prestige trim gets all the features of pure trim along with reverse parking camera, exterior chrome embellishments, Taurus leather upholstery and auto dimming inner rear view mirror.

R-Sport:

In addition to all the features of Pure and Prestige, R-Sport variant would get gesture control tail gate, LED headlamps with DRLs, 19 inch alloy wheels, reclining rear seat, electric adjust steering column, surround camera system, larger front brakes, mood lighting and In Control touch pro infotainment system as standard.

First Edition:

It will be the most tech loaded variant of the lot, apart from aforementioned features First edition will get 20 inch alloy wheels, Meridian audio system, panoramic sunroof and Windsor leather upholstery.

At the tape, the Jaguar F-Pace measures 4,731mm in length, 1,936mm in width and 1,667mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,874mm.

The Crossover SUV might be available in two diesel engines- the pure and prestige trims would get a 2.0l diesel developing 180bhp of max power and 430Nm of torque. The engine is apt enough to make 0-100km/hr sprint in just 8.7 seconds with the top speed of 208km/hr. The R-sport and Limited edition to get bigger 3.0 litre V6 diesel mill that belts out 300bhp power and 700Nm of torque and it is capable enough to accelerate 0-100km/hr speed in 6.2 seconds before hitting the top speed of 241km/hr. Despite of alleged diesel ban in Delhi NCR and Kerala, JLR isn’t offering petrol engine with F-Pace. It is expected to start at Rs. 75 lakh for the Pure and it goes up to Rs. 1 Crore (ex-showroom) for R-sport variant.
