Fiat Punto EVO Pure launched in India at Rs. 4.92 lakh

Fiat motor has launched Punto Evo Pure as Punto’s new entry level variant and starts at a sticker price of Rs. 4.92 lakh for the petrol version (ex-showroom Delhi). The Evo pure now becomes the most affordable car in the range replacing the Punto Pure. The hatch also comes with 3 year warranty with service intervals of 15,000 kms.

The Fiat Punto Evo flaunts signature sweptback headlamps, drop nose, multi-spoke alloy wheels, black ORVMs and door handles. On the inside, it features digital instrument cluster with digital odometer, digital clock, digital trip meter, distance to empty indicator etc. The car also gets hydraulic power steering, well tuned suspension and best in class ground clearance.

The Punto EVO Pure is available in six color shades- Exotica red, Hip Hop black, Magnesio Grey, Bossonova white, Bronzo Tan and Minimal grey.

The Punto Evo Pure is available only with a 1.2 litre F.I.R.E petrol engine that makes 67bhp power@6000rpm and 96Nm of torque@2500rpm. Transmission duties are taken care by a 5-speed manual gearbox. It claims fuel efficiency figures of 15.8kmpl.

Despite being one of the competent offering in the segment, Fiat Punto hasn’t been able to do well. However, Punto Evo is expected to remain true to its DNA as its siblings with great drivability and steering feedback. The Punto Evo Pure will take on Maruti Swift, Honda Brio, Ford Figo in the Indian market.
