User’s Review of Hyundai Elantra

A user appreciates the idea of incorporating rear A/C vents and rear audio controls. With that rear people can njoy changing tracks without having to beg the front seat commuters to do the favour and with the dual zone FATC system, a different temp from that at the front can be maintained. Now it’s quite easy to have 2 extremists sit in the same car, one can enjoy being cool and other can njoy the heat!! :p

A Hyundai fan can’t wait for the car to be launched in India. He likes the fluidic design in all the new Hyundai cars, Sonata, Elantra, Verna and Santa Fe. Many others also have the same opinion as the famous John Keats phrase ‘a thing of beauty is a joy forever’. A user has glorified Elantra by calling it as ‘signature of success’ because of great Performance and efficiency! Now that’s a huge complement. Another user noticed the first in segment safety Escort headlights that remains on even when the ignition is set off just to guide the passage.

Here’s a user who has rated full 5 stars on performance, appearance and comfort considers Pick-up and style as the pros and ground clearance and mileage figures in petrol version of the car as the cons. For him the best thing about the vehicle is that it runs like a sports car and thus quenches his thirst to get an racing car.

Yet another user feels that the car has good drivability and comparatively silent engine but lacks some basic functionality in the form of Sunroof, etc. The comfort and luxury level is highest in the car and is all set to give competition to Corolla Altis, and leaves Laura, Cruze and Jetta way behind. The car has a quick cooling system; within 15 sec of turning the a/c on the cooling can be felt. He also loved the 10-way electrically adjustable driver seat functionality and thus set the most suitable position for driving. With a no. of pockets here and there it offers quite a many storage options and also gives descent leg room and head room. He got the mileage figure of 11kpl in city and 13 kpl on highways, which was definitely less than expectations and lack of distance-to-empty parameter couldn’t refrain him making a long face 🙁  He also complains of lack of Hill start assist feature in manual transmission version of car and suggests Hyundai to make rear seats foldable incase there is too much luggage to carry the boot can be increased by folding the rear seats and add the Sunroof so that natural light can be enjoyed when someone desire to have it during daytime.

Overall the car is equally apt for flambuyont and subtle people, just depends upon the perception you have about it. The car is definitely a test ride, so if you are planning to buy a sedan class car this year, this one may the car for you. Goodluck for your search.
