Toyota Innova Touring Sport launched in India at Rs 17.79 lakh

After a long wait, Toyota has launched a new variant of Innova Crysta called Innova Touring sport at a starting price of Rs. 17.79 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Based on Vx and Zx trims, it is fuelled by the same engine options- one petrol and two diesel motors. Meanwhile changes are limited to visual only with an exterior styling kit and an all-black interior theme. The Touring sport is based on Toyota Venturer, a popular MPV in Indonesia.

In terms of changes, the Touring sport flaunts smoked projector headlamps with LED DRLs, smoke black chrome grille and bumper spoiler with chrome inserts. Side profile sports black cladding, 17 inch matte black alloy wheels. While on rear chrome dominance continues on rear bumper and black treatment on rear doors with split tail lamps giving it bolder stance.

On the inside, it comes with sporty red stitching on seats gear box and console, red wood pattern on dashboard, Black wood finish rear door inner garnish. The multi-spoke steering wheel gets sporty stitch and black wood touch. There’s also red illuminated combimeter, MID, seat back table. All variants get 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system as standard while navigation feature is limited to automatic variants.

The Touring Sport will be available in exclusive Wildfire’ Red along with pearl crystal White color. For safety, it comes with 7 SRS airbags, hill start assist, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability control, reverse parking camera. The Innova Touring Sport is powered by the same range of engines– a 2.7-litre petrol (MT and AT), 2.4-litre diesel (MT) and a 2.8-litre diesel (AT).

The Touring sport comes at a premium of Rs. 75,000 over the standard model. Here are the ex-showroom Delhi prices of the Innova Touring Sport:-

  • 7 Vx Petrol (MT) – Rs 17,79,000
  • 7 Zx Petrol (AT) – Rs 20,84,5000
  • 4 Vx Diesel (MT) – Rs 18,91,000
  • 8 Zx Diesel (AT) – Rs 22, 15,500
