Brand Value:

Undoubtedly, Toyota is a brand which is more reliable and trustable than others in India. Its excellent after-sale service is one of the remarkable identities of this brand.

Space:

Dimension wise, this sedan is 4265 in length, 1695 in width and 1510 in height. The car has the ground clearance of 174mm which is said to be good coz it saves the car’s bottom from unwanted speed breakers on bad roads.

The turning radius of this sedan is 4.9m which is comparatively less than other cars in its segment. The fuel tank capacity is of 45 liters and 595 liters of amazing boot space which can take holiday luggage. The total weight of this car (kerb weight) is 945 kg. Five passengers can sit easily inside this sedan.

Interiors:

The new features of this exclusive edition model are:

  • Chrome accented gear knobs
  • Bluetooth audio with remote
  • Modified seat fabric
  • Reverse parking sensors
  • Height adjustable driver seats
  • 2-tone beige and grey interiors,
  • ‘Xclusive Edition’ badges.

While the other repeated features which were also available in previous version i.e. Toyota Etios, are air conditioner with heater & clean air filter, power windows with driver side Auto-down, electric power steering with tilt function, central locking, cooled glove box, front cabin lights, adjustable front Headrest, pillow type rear headrest, digital trip meter, speakers, 7 bottle holders, front and rear door pockets, day/night inside rear view mirror, remote fuel lid & tailgate opener, 2-din 1CD MP3 system along with USB, Aux-in & Bluetooth.

These already available as well as newly added features make this sedan a premium and trendy car.

Exterior:

On outside, it is well designed and well embellished with various necessary features like body colored bumpers, body colored door handles & ORVM, intermittent wiper, full wheel caps, roof mounted foldable antenna, chrome garnish on boot which provides an attractive glimpse to this car.

Road handling & safety features:

Safety wise, it is not as good as it previous version because of the omission of dual air bags as well as ABD with EBD system. These features have become the necessary requirements of users today, so buyer will definitely miss them. But immobilizer (an electronic anti-theft device), door ajar warning (which warns if door is not closed properly) and keyless entry are some available safety features in this sedan.

This sedan has ventilated disc brakes at front while Drum at rear along with the MacPherson strut suspension (which is used to cushion the car, to limit bounce and to transmit the steering motion) at front while torsion beam suspension (which gives good directional stability) at rear.

Verdict:

This Etios Xclusive along with the Etios Liva Xclusive is the first to be limited designed for the Indian customers. This limited edition sedan has definitely some eye catching features which make this car absolute, but we definitely miss the omitted safety features in this.

To push sales in a market, the carmakers are taking support of different attractive schemes as well as launching of special or limited edition models which is definitely working out, and this launch seems to be part of such support too.
