Tata has added a new variant to its sub 4m sedan Tigor in the form of a new XM trim. It sits between the entry level XE and XT variants and Priced at Rs. 4.99 lakh for the petrol variant and Rs. 5.81 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the diesel. The Tigor XM will be available across all authorized retailers starting from 15th September 2017.
Coming to the features, it comes packed with the infotainment system, interior lamps with theatre dimming, manual central lock with key, follow me LED lamps, front-rear power windows, LED fuel gauge, full fabric seat upholstery, speed sensing auto door locks, full wheel covers and much more.
However, the Tigor XM doesn’t come with dual front airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Corner Stability Control (CSC) as standard features.
Mechanically, it remains unchanged; the petrol engines are powered by a 1.2l 3-Cylinder motor that makes 84bhp [email protected] and 114Nm of [email protected] While the diesel engines get a 1.05l Revotorq engine that makes 69bhp [email protected] and 140Nm of torque between 1800-3000rpm. Both engines are linked to a 5-speed manual transmission as standard with Multi drive system (Eco and City).
