Skoda’s redecorated SUV Yeti which was unveiled at 2014 auto expo is all set to hit the floors on 10th September 2014. After the time span of three years Yeti undergoes a makeover for the first time in Indian market. Expected price of new Skoda yeti might be around Rs. 15.20 lakhs.

New Skoda Yeti gets new front and rear bumpers, Bi-Xenon headlamps, new Skoda logo, new alloy wheels, LED taillights, wider grille, Re designed fog lamps and modified bonnet. Yeti will be available in seven graceful colors which are candy white, cappuccino beige, Mato brown, Brilliant Silver, Aqua mist and magic Black. New Yeti will be having three roof color option as well.

Inside the cabin Yeti facelift gets high quality upholstery, 3 spoke steering wheel with wheel cover, Dual zone A/C, electrically adjustable driver seat, folding rear seats, panoramic sunroof, tyre monitoring system and upgraded music system with 8 speakers.

Mechanically, Skoda Yeti will empower with 2.0L Diesel engine which is further sub divided into two variants.

  • Entry level model will be powered by 108BHP power, 250nm torque which is mated with 5 speed manual transmission that will send the power to front wheels only (4*2).
  • Another 2.0L four cylinder will be lined up by 140BHP power and 320nm torque mated with 6 speed manual transmission mated with all wheel drive. (4*4)

Yeti Facelift is equipped with loads of safety features including:

  • Hill hold control (HHC)
  • 6 air bags
  • Traction control
  • Electronic stability system
  • Anti- slip regulation
  • ABS+EBD
  • Tyre pressure monitors
  • Brake assist.
