The German Sportscar maker has announced the launch of Platinum Edition package for Cayenne S SUV, available with both diesel and petrol engine options. The Platinum edition comes with longer feature list as compared to standard Cayenne model while remaining mechanically identical. The petrol edition is priced at Rs. 1.27 crores while diesel cost at Rs. 1.31 crores (Ex-showroom Maharashtra).
To distinguish it from standard model Platinum edition gets body colored wheel arch extensions, blacked out trim bits, new 21 inchers alloy wheels replacing the 18-inch units. The SUV’s color palette is available in six colors including two standard shades– black and white and four metallic colors- Mahogany, Carrara white, Rhodium Silver and Jet black.
The Platinum exterior package also includes bi-xenon headlights with Porsche dynamic light system (PDLS), front and rear parking sensors. Inside the cabin, it receives range of features as front entry door sill guards embedded with Platinum edition, eight way leather sports seats with Alcantara centre, front seats with heating option, headrests bear Porsche crest, analogue clock on the dashboard.
The range also boards Porsche communication management infotainment system (PCM) with navigation, Bose Surround Sound System, power steering plus and automatic dimming exterior and interior mirrors.
The Porsche Platinum Cayenne S variant continues to draw power from a 3.6l 6-cylinder bi-turbo engine which makes 420bhp power and 550Nm of high torque while delivering fuel efficiency around 10.2 Kmpl. The diesel variant features a 4.2l V8 twin Turbocharged engine churning out 385bhp power and 850Nm of high torque; it delivers fuel efficiency of 12.19 Kmpl. Both the engines are linked to an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox.
