Porsche has introduced the feature packed black editions of its 911 Carrera and Boxster Sports car range. As the name suggest, the variants come with black theme both inside and outside that adds more class and elegance to the cars. The Black edition models are quite popular especially among the young generation.

The Boxster edition apart from the black aesthetic package gets bi-xenon headlights with Porsche dynamic light system (PDLS), Driver + passenger heated seats, sporty steering wheel, reversing digital camera, dual zone climate control, 20” Carrera classic alloy wheels, Bose embody surround system with sound quality package plus, Porsche crest on head restraints and Black edition emblem on door guards.

The Boxster black edition is powered by the same 2.8L petrol engine that churns out 265bhp power and 280Nm of peak torque matched to a seven speed PDK gearbox and sport plus mode.

The 911 Carrera black edition is available in both Coupe and Cabriolet (Convertible) body styles with RWD and AWD systems. The special edition comes with standard features such as LED headlamps with Porsche dynamic light system (PDLS) plus, 20 inch alloy wheels from 911 turbo, black upholstery and black dashboard.

Under the hood of 911 Carrera black model is a same 3.4L petrol engine that powers the standard variant and delivers 350bhp power and 380Nm of peak torque with rear and all wheel drive layout.

The standard equipments on both editions are rain sensor, Porsche communication management (PCM) with navigation module, sporty steering wheel, cruise control, automatic dimming rear view mirror etc.

The special black editions of Boxster and 911 Carrera will go on sale starting this month.

Porsche Boxster black edition- Rs. 78.0 lakh

Porsche 911 Carrera black edition- Rs. 1.3 crore
